Before you can take the practical test you will have to pass the motorcycle theory test. The only exceptions are holders of a full licence for another category of motorbike or anyone who passed a moped test since 1st July 1996.

The format is a multiple-choice test conducted on a touch-screen computer followed by a hazard perception element where you will have to identify developing hazards on video clips.

Official DSA preparation material consists of books, videos, a CD-ROM and a DVD, all of which are available from our office.
